EVENTS & OPPORTUNITIES

Yoga at Living Faith Lutheran Church:  Want to relax and work off some stress? Join us Mondays at 6pm or Thursdays at 12pm in the Fellowship Hall. Classes from Thursday, August 10th to Thursday, September 7th are cancelled.  Please join us again on Monday, September 11th OR Thursday, September 14th at NEW TIME: 12pm

24-hour Prayer Vigil for Peace:   Starting at 3pm on Friday, September 22nd and going to 3pm on Saturday, September 23rd, Living Faith will be hosting a 24-hour prayer vigil for world peace.  This vigil is our commemoration of the International Day of Peace (IDP) established by the United Nations in 1981.  Please sign-up for one or more 15-minute time slots by emailing the church office at MyLivingFaith@gmail.com with “Prayer Vigil” in the subject line.  You may sign up for just 15-minutes OR for multiple time slots. There is no limit on how many people sign-up for the same time slots—we want anyone to pray whenever they can, as often as they can. You do not have to be at the church building, although it may be meaningful for you if you can be.  The Sanctuary will be open Friday from 3pm to 11pm and then again on Saturday from 8am to 3pm.

Labyrinth Walk:  Friday, October 6th; 5 pm to 8 pm   Walk to Connect and Unwind    A labyrinth is not a maze, a puzzle, or a game.  It has no wrong turns or dead ends.  The labyrinth is a sacred path that will always take you to the center and back out again.  Walking the labyrinth is an experience unique to each person who walks. There is no wrong way to walk the labyrinth.  You can walk the path with the intention of focusing on an issue in your life.  It may be helpful to walk while praying a certain prayer or reciting a particular verse of Scripture.  Some people focus on just one word (or mantra).
